Hijab for women

Islam is the best way of life to all human and we are as a moslim need to share this knowledge with those to whom the message has not yet been conveyed.

It is not easy to convey the message of Islam to a non-moslim because most of them are not convinced about Islam according from the information we give are not satisfied to them and not wisdom.

In the past few years of my Da'wah experience, one of my friend from Vietnam asked me why does Islam degrade women by keeping them behind the veil or hijab? The hijab is too hot for them espeacially we are living in a warm weather.

To all my sisters either you are moslim and non-moslim should know that whatever ALLAH asks you to do something even from your eyes saying it is bad, but the truth is the order given is meant for all mankind.

Hijab is a Islamic dress to cover the complete body except the face and the hands upto the wrist. If they wish to, the can cover even these parts of the body. In surah Al-Ahzab says that hijab has been prescribed for the women so that they are recognize as modest women and this will also prevent them from being molested.

Sahih InternationalO Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
(Al Ahzab:59)

Same goes in Surah Annur 31, Allah asks for women to cover their beauty by putting veils and do not show their beauty to men who are not muhrim to them. To all my lovely sister, this is an order from Allah, you like it or not, you must do because there are many benefit or 'hikmah' behind it such as it will conduct you to a good attitude, behaviour and also practice us to be a good moslim woman.

And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.(AnNur 31)

Eventhough, in a new modern generation, a lot of types and design of veil/hijab are introduced, as long as you put your veil/hijab following syariat which is should be cover your chest, should not be transparent, not be so glamorous as to attract the opposite sex and the veil/hijab should not resemble that are specifically identities or sysmbols of the unbelievers' religions.

I also would like to say to my lovely leader lady in Malaysia, please put your hijab because you are a role model to all moslim women in our country.Peace no WAR.
